I am a bit of a perfectionist and can’t go to sleep if I know my house is not in order. Meaning, no dishes in the sinks, dirty floors, toys all about, dust on the TV screens and utter caos in the home. Yes, I know..Anal to some, but its my life. *Grin* I believe that the Lord has called us ladies to be “keepers of the home” Per Titus 2…and how can we be a “keeper of the home” when we are NOT in the home for more then a couple hours a day if that.
I homeschool my kids and enjoy having them home with me. YES, I really said that! I love my kids!
I am a advocate for Gentle Parenting and feel that we do not have to hit our kids for them to learn to behave. We correct them with words and Love, showing them in the bible how the Lord wants them to behave. Exodus 20:12
We have done several extensive studies on the shebet (translated “rod”) and know that the bible talks about several different types of Rods..and Proverbs 13:24 is talking about the “authorative Rod” NOT, the Rod that was extreamly heavy and was used to break a lambs leg if he strayed.
Please research this for yourself and pray about it as we have. Challenge everything you have been taught, do not except it UNLESS you have studied it for yourself and prayed about how the Lord would lead you.
What will ye? shall I come unto you with a rod, or in love, and in the spirit of meekness? 1 Corinthians 4:21
Why is it that we quote Proverbs so much when discussing the Rod, but fail to ever look at the NT and what Jesus says? What about verse Matthew 25:40 ”‘when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’ This really changes those night time newborn cries. We can not exactly say… Sorry, Lord. You have to sleep through the night. I’ll take care of you in the morning or when I am not so tired…Your Baby needs you ladies!!! Do not make them beg for your warmth and comfort…

As a family, We Play, laugh and learn together. Is there really any better way to bring joy and love in a home? Our home is very active and fun..allowing time for each one of us to unrind each evening and pray for the Lords leading the following day. PEACE,PEACE and MORE PEACE is a must have to ensure a happy, healthy living environment for your family!

No, this does not mean it is a watered down church, in fact, it is the opposite. We are part of a great new church group that have THE CORE belief system. Very neat to read up on. I will be adding a link soon.
We are former IFB ”Baptists” but have recently felt led to bury religion and start having relationships. AMEN!
Some of my hobbies include: sewing, scrapbooking, cooking, cleaning, making Lapbooks & Crafts with my kids and reading. I love meeting new people and learning wisdom from my older Christian sisters.
